One of the stars of Yellowstone is saying goodbye to the show in an emotional post online, sharing pictures as the runaway hit show wraps its final season.
Yellowstone star Wendy Moniz posted to her Instagram page, letting fans know that she has wrapped her role on the popular modern Western show. Moniz played the role of Governor Lynelle Perry on Yellowstone.
“Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels; sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few,” she writes on Instagram.
“What a beautiful experience I’ve had here; just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017. I completed my last scene August 1st, then recalled having previously shared a gratitude post…looking back, it was on the SAME DATE two years ago.”

“There’s been a lot to reflect on, because this place, with the exceptional people who make it live and breathe, has often felt like a home away from home over these last 7 years,” she adds.
According to TV Line, a Yellowstone sequel is set to launch after Yellowstone wraps its fifth season, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell and Suits star Patrick J. Adams.
TV Line reports that the show will follow “wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn and her family as they leave New York City and head to Montana after her husband and brother-in-law’s tragic deaths in a plane crash.”
Yellowstone stars Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly and Luke Grimes were originally rumored to resume their Yellowstone roles in the sequel. It’s unclear if that’s still happening, and it’s also not clear if Kurt Russell is assuming the role originally slated for McConaughey, or playing a new role.
Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 is slated to premiere on Paramount Network on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 8PM ET, and the new episodes will bring the series to an end.
