Where You Can See Your Favorite Country Artists on Fourth of July

As the nation gets ready to celebrate its 248th birthday, a handful of country artists are preparing to perform on some pretty big stages. In honor of Fourth of July, several country hitmakers are scheduled to open for the day’s biggest event — the fireworks.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks

For the 48th year, Macy’s will be hosting its Independence Day celebration in New York City. The 4th of July Fireworks will once again take place on the Brooklyn Bridge, featuring one of the largest fireworks shows in the country and a stunning drone show displayed in the night sky.

This year’s lineup features Lainey Wilson, The War & Treaty, Brandy Clark and Mickey Guyton. Others taking the stage include Amber Mark and Luis Fonsi. The show will air live on NBC and stream on Peacock on Thursday, July 4 at 8PM ET.

Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing! Music City

Nashville will once again be overtaken with country music to honor America. This year’s headliner for Let Freedom Sing! Music City is Chris Young. He will close out the night just before the fireworks light up the sky.

The event will also feature performances from Yola, Girl Named Tom, Blessing Offor and the Nashville Symphony. Fans can stream the event online at VisitMusicCity.com/july4th.

Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic

Willie Nelson is shaking up his annual 4th of July Picnic this year as the event will be held in the city where America was born, Philadelphia. The 2024 lineup includes Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Maren Morris, Mavis Staples and Celisse, as well as Nelson’s family.

Despite canceling a handful of shows recently, due to his health, Nelson is still scheduled to perform at this year’s event.

Jess hosts the syndicated radio show, Taste of Country Weekend, which can be heard on country stations nationwide. Tune in for all of the best new country music, spotlights on new tracks and emerging artists, plus Double-Downs on all of your favorites. The weekend is always better with a little Taste of Country in it.
