What Rascal Flatts Will Require Backstage on 2025 Tour

As Racal Flatts begin to map out their 2025 Life Is a Highway Tour, they’re thinking about what they’re going to need backstage.

It’s not much.

We spoke with the “My Wish” singers on Taste of Country Nights, where host Evan Paul asked them what is on the list of must-haves when they reunite.

For Gary LeVox, it’s hummus.

Joe Don Rooney chimed in with something to scoop it up with, noting: “Pita chips.”

“We never really had any elaborate tour riders, we just had water, chips and salsa,” Jay DeMarcus says, giving a more detailed answer.

But Rooney, 49, insists that he also needs something to boost his energy — a lot of it, actually.

“A lot of Red Bull. I need some Red Bull,” he says.

Rooney is celebrating three years of sobriety, having given up alcohol after a 2021 DUI arrest. So for him, on Rascal Flatts’ 2025 tour, he’ll be especially hydrated. He says it’s going to be, “the H2O tour for me.”

So, if you’re keeping track at home, Rascal Flatts’ tour rider includes:

Hummus
Pita chips
Water
More chips, presumably tortilla
Salsa
Red Bull

Rascal Flatts’ Life Is a Highway Tour kicks off on February 13, 2025 in Evansville, Ind. Tickets are already on sale.
