This spring, Jelly Roll underwent a total dental reconstruction and came out with a fresh set of pearly whites.

Jelly’s teeth transformation addressed both health and cosmetic issues. When he first went to the dentist, he said he was replacing the veneers he’s had for the past two decades, as well as “getting some implants and getting some cavities and wisdom teeth pulled out.”

Now, his dentist — Dr. Matt Kasiar, the top cosmetic dentist at the Practice in Franklin, Tenn. – is sharing an inside look into Jelly’s dental makeover, literally.

On Instagram, Kasiar and the rest of his team took fans behind the scenes, offering a close-up look at the set of veneers they crafted just for Jelly. The country superstar traded in his old smile for a sleek, pearly-white new set, featuring four silver-studded teeth on the bottom row.

Over the course of multiple dentist visits, Jelly documented his journey with help from his wife, Bunnie Xo. She was there to capture all the hilarious “Anesthesia Roll” content, sharing video of Jelly’s unfiltered comments as he was waking up from anesthesia.

Fans might not be surprised to learn that Jelly’s first thoughts after waking up from dental surgery were often a little NSFW. In his half-sedated state, he often proclaimed his love for his wife, even though “there are a lot of hotties in this world.” On another occasion, he suggested Bunnie “climb on top of me” right there in the dentist’s chair.

Jelly’s dental surgeries took place back in March and April.
