East Texas singer-songwriter Travis Bolt has released his new country-rock single, “Blues At My Funeral,” a brooding, soul-baring track that leans into heartbreak, dark humor, and lived experience. It’s the latest preview of his forthcoming debut album Burning Bridges, due out March 6, 2026, and it might be his most revealing work yet.

The song sits at the intersection of Texas country grit and blues-soaked rock, driven by Bolt’s unflinching vocal delivery and diaristic songwriting. There’s no polish for polish’s sake here. In a recent conversation with People, Bolt opened up about how music has helped him navigate life with Tourette Syndrome, explaining that playing guitar and singing helped slow his tics and gave him an outlet when nothing else could.
