If you thought The Will Carter Band was slowing down, think again—because these Texas boys are shifting into high gear for a full year of new music leading up to their next album in 2026.

After riding high on the success of their 2024 album Had It All Wrong—which racked up four Top 30 singles in Texas before it even dropped—the band is keeping the momentum going. And they’re doing it in true Texas fashion: one song at a time, all year long.

First up? “Masterpiece” arrives just in time for Valentine’s Day (February 14th), serving up a swoon-worthy ballad to set the mood. But don’t get too comfortable—things take a turn on March 28th with “What We Do In The Dark”, followed by the boot-stomping anthem “Country Boy” on May 9th. And just when summer starts heating up, they’ll drop their brand-new Masterpiece EP on June 20th.

But the real treat? Come August, The Will Carter Band will start rolling out sneak peeks of their next full-length album, set for 2026. And if what they’re teasing is any indication, it’s about to be their grittiest, most rock-infused record yet.

“Growing up I listened to very traditional country with my father while my mother preferred classic rock,” recalls Carter. “Writing and recording with my bandmates who are predominantly rock players lends a much edgier sound to this album, and Chad’s balance between creative freedom and guidance behind the board makes him feel like a member of the band.”

Maudlin backs that up, saying, “This new album is without question a 2-step towards a more rock sound. It’s an authentic offering of really honest music. I think this newer sound is the bona fide Will Carter Band.”
