‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Season 7 Premiere Date
In revealing that her ex-husband was sick, Clarkson shared that she would be taking some time away from her career to be near her children. Blackstock died one day after this announcement, and the 43-year-old has not issued any sort of statement since.
While Clarkson announced a departure from her Las Vegas residency at that time, she said nothing about her daytime TV show.
Questions about if the show would return at all came as far back as spring as insiders noted how little time remained on her contract, and that she’d missed 10 shows in March and April.
While the future of the show after 2026 is unknown, TMZ is sharing that The Kelly Clarkson Show will return to television in September.
The exact date is not clear. She’s launched most seasons on a Monday, with mid-to-late September a popular choice (Season 6 began on Sept. 23, 2024).
How Did Brandon Blackstock Die?
Brandon Blackstock, 48, died after battling melanoma for three years. He kept his diagnosis a secret, and Clarkson did, too.
“Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family,” a statement from Starstruck Entertainment reads.
In addition to managing Clarkson, Blackstock — son of Reba McEntire’s ex-husband Narvel Blackstock — worked with Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts and Carly Pearce.
The singer has dealt with serious medical conditions since 2006. Add two kids, the stress of life, career and divorce and getting older — yeah, we totally get how she gained a few pounds.
In 2025, she’s as fit as she’s ever been, and that’s because she began to take her doctor’s advice seriously. Medicine helped, but it’s not what you think.
