Luke Combs is taking his fans on an emotional journey with the setlist for his 2024 Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.
The country hitmaker is opening the show with his song “Must’ve Never Met You.” Although it’s a song about loving someone with a broken heart, it feels like a love song to the crowd — as if he’s starting off by saying this matters to him. Each show and each moment with his fans isn’t something he takes for granted.
Similar to his World Tour in 2023, Combs is kicking things off each night with several singalong hits, courting the audience before gently leading them into more sentimental tracks.
Fans can expect to hear his new dad song “The Man He Sees in Me,” which he wrote after becoming a father.
What Songs Does Luke Combs Cover on Tour?
During this year’s Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour, Combs will continue to cover a handful of songs that have become staples at his shows: This includes Ed Sheeran‘s tracks “Dive,” Combs’ wildly successful rendition of Tracy Chapman‘s “Fast Car” and Brooks & Dunn‘s “Brand New Man.” The “Where the Wild Things Are” singer joined the duo for a new version of the track for the Reboot album.
He’s also sprinkling in some mini-covers during his band introductions, covering portions of Shania Twain, Train and Dierks Bentley.
