In the latest “Y’all are taking too long to de-plane and I gotta get off this thing” news, a commercial airline passenger got into some trouble for exiting a flight in a very non-conventional way.
A passenger was quickly taken into custody after a flight landed in Australia and the man tried to speed up the process of getting off of the plane by opening the emergency exit door and walking onto the wing of the aircraft.
According to reports, the man opened the emergency exit, which in turn deployed a slide from the back of the wing at the fuselage to the ground. But the man chose to walk along the wing and proceeded to climb down one of the Airbus A320’s two engines.
Nobody really knows what the man was thinking, but passengers reported that he was illegally vaping the whole flight and demanding alcohol from the flight attendants.
So it appears that the guy was slated to most likely get arrested when they landed already, due to his unruly behavior. Police said in a statement that Australian Federal Police officers had already been alerted and they arrested the man for “alleged aggressive behavior and breaching aircraft safety protocols.”
A few of the passengers on the flight captured video of the incident. Passengers said the man started talking crazy while the flight was landing, and then it just escalated from there.
Even after being detained, the passenger can clearly be seen going nuts on staff.
If you get on a flight and see something that doesn’t look or feel right, you are encouraged to speak up right away and let the flight crew know immediately.
