Morgan Wallen Owns His Past and His Future with New Album ‘I’m The Problem’ – Country Music News

Morgan Wallen is back, and he’s making sure everyone knows it. His fourth studio album, I’m The Problem, is set to drop on May 16, 2025, and if the title alone doesn’t tell you this one’s going to be personal, just wait until you hear what’s inside.

Wallen announced the album directly to his fans—because let’s be real, they’re the ones who’ve ridden this wild ride with him from the beginning. With 17 No. 1 singles, a record-breaking tour, and more awards than we can count, he’s proven he’s not just country’s biggest name—he’s one of the biggest names in music, period. Pre-save I’m The Problem here.

More Raw, More Honest, More Wallen

After spending nearly a year writing and reflecting at his Tennessee farm, Wallen has crafted an album that doesn’t shy away from the past but also looks toward what’s next.

“I have been a problem, for sure, and I’ve got no problem admitting that,” Wallen shared. “But there are other sides to me as well. I’ve spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?’ I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it.”

That honesty sets the tone for I’m The Problem, where he blends country, rock, and even a little dirt-road grit into a collection of songs that feel closer to the core of who he is than ever before.

New Music Tonight!

To kick things off, two new songs drop tonight:
Just In Case – A track that’s bound to hit hard, written by Wallen alongside an all-star lineup of songwriters.
I’m A Little Crazy – Because, let’s be honest, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Sand In My Boots Festival & ‘I’m The Problem’ Tour

Wallen’s making sure this album launch is one to remember. The release will coincide with his sold-out, Sand In My Boots Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama (May 16-18), where he’s bringing a stacked lineup of artists across multiple genres.

And if you miss him there? Well, you’ll have one of only 21 chances to catch him live in 2025. The I’m The Problem Tour kicks off June 20, featuring Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, and Koe Wetzel on select dates.
