Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Kelsea Ballerini and more have been announced as performers for the upcoming People’s Choice Country Awards.
NBC and Peacock revealed the star-studded performance line-up for highly anticipated event on Tuesday, Sept. 10 via press release.
Along with Lambert, McCollum and Ballerini, the performers set to take the stage of the Grand Ole Opry for the live celebration on September 26, include Kane Brown, Keith Urban, Lady A and The War And Treaty. Each of these acts will get their time to shine as they showcase renditions of their top-charting hits in front of fans and members of the industry.
Plus, country stars including Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town and comedian Nate Bargatze will also be on hand as presenters throughout the night.
It was previously announced that in addition to performing, Brown will be honored with the Country Champion Award and Lambert will receive the Country Icon Award.
The “Miles On It” singer has been selected as this year’s recipient of the honor as a result of his unwavering dedication to serving his community and the incredible contributions he’s made to the country music industry throughout his career.
“Since the beginning of his career, Kane Brown has ensured that his legacy will extend beyond music,” said Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events and Specials, NBCUniversal Entertainment. “His dedication to empowering and supporting younger generations is nothing short of inspiring, and we’re thrilled to honor him with the Country Champion Award.”
