BigXThaPlug is going big with his collaborations for his upcoming album, I Hope You’re Happy. The rapper, born Xavier Landum, revealed the track list, which features Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Shaboozey, and more, during a visit to Apple Music’s new L.A. studio, which opened this week.

The 11-song set also features Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley, Ink, Tucker Wetmore, and Thomas Rhett. In an exclusive clip with Apple Music, he details the stacked collaborations. The LP, which arrives on Aug. 22, is available for pre-order.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, he discussed his previous album, Take Care, which was one of the best hip-hop albums of 2024, and how he got his start, writing rhymes and poetry while in solitary confinement.  “I wasn’t trying to be no fucking rapper,” he said, but he was motivated to provide for his kid, and continued to write rhymes, leading to hits that include “Texas,” “Levels,” and “Mmhmm.”
