NASHVILLE, TN (May 6, 2025) – Independent Christian artist Layla Capri returns with her heartfelt new single, “Your Story’s Not Over Yet,” available now on Christian AC radio and streaming platforms.

Co-written with Baily Hager and Chris Clayton and produced by Clayton, the track highlights Capri’s signature honest lyricism — this time with even deeper personal significance. Capri dedicates the song to Mental Health Awareness Month, a cause that became close to her heart following the loss of her cousin to suicide in October 2024.

Capri shared that, according to research, one in five Americans will experience mental health concerns this year. In response, she has partnered with the Isaiah Michaels Foundation and several mental health organizations to bring awareness and encouragement through her music.

The lyric video for “Your Story’s Not Over Yet” celebrates the power of storytelling by featuring individuals affected by mental health struggles or suicide loss. “I’m grateful for each person — including my own family — who was willing to take part and remind others that their story’s not over yet,” Capri shares.

Chorus Excerpt:

Let the pen keep writing

Let the page keep turning

If you’ll just keep holding on

This chapter will finish

There’s a new beginning

Oh child, don’t you forget

Your story’s not over yet.

“By sharing experiences, we empower others to do the same. Together, we can create a movement of courage, healing, and connection, especially through our faith,” says Capri.

You are invited to add “Your Story’s Not Over Yet” to your playlists and radio rotations today.
