The annual country-music blowout descends upon stages around Nashville June 6 through 9
The lineup for CMA Fest 2024 is out and it emphasizes a new era of country music. While veterans Luke Bryan and Keith Urban, and the seemingly never-to-retire Lynyrd Skynyrd, are set to play the festival’s biggest stage, the roster is heavy on young talent: Hardy, Lainey Wilson, Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll, and Brothers Osborne will all perform at the nightly concerts at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
Kicking off Thursday, June 6, and running through Sunday night, June 9, CMA Fest features hundreds of artist performing on 10 stages — many of them free — throughout downtown Nashville. This year, the Chevy Riverfront Stage rivals Nissan Stadium for its ones-to-watch lineup. Oklahoma singer-songwriter Wyatt Flores (one of Rolling Stone’s Future 25), Dylan Gossett, 49 Winchester, Corey Kent, and Ella Langley should all pack the lawn bordering the Cumberland River.

The Hard Rock Stage is also a lightning rod for discovering new talent: Last year, singer-guitarslinger Reid Haughton made a strong showing and will return to the Hard Rock again this year. Fans would be wise to catch his set, along with performances on the stage by Annie Bosko, Fancy Hagood, Tyler Halverson, Harper O’Neill, Reyna Roberts, and Kelsey Waldon — one of Rolling Stone Country’s very first Artists You Need to Know.
