Justin Moore has a house full of kids — four, to be exact.
He is the proud father of three daughters, Ella Kole, Kennedy Faye and Rebecca Klein, and a son, Thomas South Moore. With his kids in 9th, 7th, 5th and 2nd grade, you better believe that between them and all of their friends, that household goes through a ton of groceries.
When he stopped by Taste of Country Nights: On Demand, we asked Moore just how much it costs to feed his large family.
“I think our grocery bill is like … ’cause there’s 6 of us, ya know? Two teenagers,” he says, pausing to explain before throwing out a number:
“My 10-year-old daughter eats more than anybody. I think our grocery bill is $500 every week.”
The average American household of four people spends about $250 per week in groceries, even under today’s inflation.
Moore’s kids are extra hungry because they play sports, and as a devoted family man, Moore is right there with them — he even coaches their teams! The singer says he and his wife are done having kids, so they’re just in the mode of enjoying their kids as they’re growing … and eating them out of house and home.
