People & Songs is thrilled to announce the release of Seasons, the newest album from Jordan Merritt—a fitting capstone on his entry as a new artist in Christian music. The title track, written by Merritt alongside Travis Ryan and Sabin Flore, is a powerful, hope-filled anthem reflecting on God’s intentional work in every season of life, inviting listeners to lean into that journey of faith.
Full of meditative joy, bright instrumentation, and driving rhythm—“Seasons” is set for digital release on July 11, following a strong radio campaign this summer. The radio single will appear on an upcoming album of remastered fan favorites from Merritt’s growing catalog.
“When the ground gets hardest, call on the God of the Harvest,” Merritt sings—a lyric that anchors the track in its message of divine trust through life’s trials. Produced by Merritt himself, the song is both a personal testimony and a collective encouragement, aligned with the heart of People & Songs to elevate music rooted in authenticity, biblical truth, and artistic excellence.
Merritt is no stranger to impactful music. A seasoned worship leader, songwriter, and pastor, his credits include charting titles like “You Hold It All” (Newsboys), “People of the Cross” (Selah), and “Give Us Your Heart” ft. Melanie Tierce—later recorded by The Worship Initiative.
In addition to his solo work, Merritt is the frontman of The Band Table, whose self-titled debut album charted at #1 on iTunes Christian Albums. They have toured nationally with WinterJam, Jordan St. Cyr, and Stars Go Dim, further cementing Merritt’s influence in Christian music.
People & Songs is proud to champion Merritt’s voice. With nearly two decades of service to the Church through songwriting, mentorship, and discipleship, the collective artist and record label continues its mission of resourcing the global Church with voices like his.
