Jason Aldean Reveals the Only Reason He’d Ever Act Again

Jason Aldean is a global superstar, known for his music, but he has appeared in a movie before. In 2013, he was in Sweetwater — but don’t look for him in future film roles, except for under one condition.

On Taste of Country Nights, The “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer was asked what it would take to get him to act again. Aldean said, “I don’t know, man. It really would depend on what it is. I mean, I’ve been offered quite a few things over the years.”

Surprisingly, Aldean did not care for the acting life.

“I don’t really know how much I liked it. Ya know? It’s hard to say because I only did the one movie.”

Aldean doubled down on his true reason for being an entertainer.

“What I do know is first and foremost, I’m a musician. I’m not an actor. Ya know? I don’t pretend to be. I like to stay in my lane on what I do well. I have no plans right now to enter acting again.”

I followed up the question by offering him an example of a part that might come up, and asking him if he would take it.

I asked, “What if they asked you to be the next 007 or Indiana Jones or something?”

The multi-platinum singer replied with, “Yeah, I don’t think that’s gonna happen.”

Aldean did offer up one caveat to his never acting again claim, though. “If I had a chance to act with Clint Eastwood, I might take him up on that because he’s my dude,” Aldean said.

Aldean is about to set off on his Highway Desperado Tour for most of 2024, which begins on April 5.

Jason Aldean‘s beach house in Santa Rosa, Fla., sits right on the Gulf of Mexico.

Aldean paid $4.1 million for the new 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 4,452-square-foot beach house. The spectacular property affords the singer and his family the opportunity to walk out their back door and down a bridge to their own private beach, and the exterior of the villa features a courtyard with iron gates that includes gas lanterns, a swimming pool and a fountain.

The home’s interior includes a downstairs with an open floorplan and oversized windows, chiseled stone floors, a gourmet kitchen, a bedroom and study and a fireplace, with coffered ceilings throughout. The upstairs of the home includes two separate master bedrooms that both overlook the Gulf, as well as two more bedrooms that each have their own attached bathrooms.
