Here’s Where to Find Them

The older we get, the more we seem to want to attach ourselves to our childhood and the nostalgia that those memories bring us.

In this day and age, where things move so fast, your favorite food or drink from your childhood could very well be discontinued, and you have no way of getting it unless you want it expired from Ebay.

But sometimes, the planets line up and a discontinued product from your childhood comes back.

Altoids Sours Making a Comeback, Only Available at One Retailer Nationwide

Who doesn’t have memories of popping in a few Altoids Sours and seeing how long you can go without spitting them out? Similar to the ’90s candy Warheads, Altoids Sours would get your eyes watering, but they were oh-so-good.

They seemingly went dark about 14 years ago, and nobody ever heard about them again. You can find regular Altoids on the grocery store shelves in every checkout line, and it only reminds you that they cancelled your favorite candy.

Here is the key to your childhood memories: According to the New York Post, Altoids Sours are coming back to shelves across America, only at Cracker Barrel.

According to the Instagram account Snackolator, they are coming this month to Cracker Barrel in three flavors: Mango, Tangerine and Citrus.

A company called Iconic Candy, LLC, has acquired the rights to the original Altoids Sours recipe, and they’re re-releasing it with similar packaging, but the exact same taste as the originals that we all knew and loved so much.

The new candy is set to hit the shelves of every single Cracker Barrel location across America by the end of September. Snackolator speculates that the Cracker Barrel drop is just the beginning, and that these will be available in other retailers if successful.
