Hank Williams Jr. has sold his stunning Tennessee plantation home, and the buyer got a sweet deal on the property.
The Country Music Hall of Famer listed his 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom, 11,566-square-foot plantation-style home in rural Tennessee for $2.8 million dollars in April.
According to online property sites, he received $1.55 million for the sale in a deal that closed on May 21. That breaks down to $134 per square foot and a monthly payment of $9,261.
Williams’ former home sits on 33.7 rolling acres in Springville, Tenn., and the land features extensive wildlife and a 2-acre duck impoundment, according to its listing — no surprise, since the country icon is a well-known hunting enthusiast.
The home’s other features include:
- Cherry-finished maple floors.
- Cherry cabinetry.
- Oak doors.
- 200-year-old Douglas fir.
- A 6,000-square-foot exercise facility with its own bathroom.
The Southern-style property also includes a workshop, a 14 X 14 gun vault, a screened-in porch, a saltwater pool and pool house, a backup generator and more top amenities.
