Forrest Frank recently posted a clip titled “Dads, this is your sign to get off the stick,” where a skating session with his son takes a dramatic turn. In the heart-stopping moment, Forrest takes a hard tumble off his board.

In the video, Forrest is cruising with his child when he suddenly loses balance and wipes out. The impact was significant enough to prompt an outpouring of concern.

Social media posts like “Pray for artist Forrest Frank! He took a nasty fall…” and “Praying for Forrest Frank as he recovers!” quickly went viral across Facebook and Instagram, highlighting how quickly his community rallied behind him.  

Despite the injury and being bedridden, he channeled the pain into creativity. “I think I’m gonna just sing whatever pops out, and I’m gonna build the chords around it,” Frank said. The result was the song “God’s Got My Back” — created in roughly three hours from his hospital bed.
