Erika Kirk is honoring her late husband, Charlie Kirk, on what would have been his 32nd birthday.
On Tuesday (Oct. 14), Erika and Turning Point USA, the nonprofit Charlie founded, shared an emotional tribute filled with personal moments from their life together — including their wedding day, the births of their two children, and other milestone memories.
“He was the perfect father. He was the perfect husband,” Erika says in a voiceover as footage from Charlie’s proposal plays.
The couple got engaged in December 2020 and were married on May 8, 2021, in Scottsdale, Ariz. They went on to welcome a daughter in August 2022 and a son in May 2024.

A Family + A Mission
In the tribute video, Erika reflected on how deeply family values were embedded in Charlie’s work and life.
“Over and over, he would tell all these young people to come and find their future spouse, become wives and husbands and parents,” she said. “And the reason why is because he wanted you all to experience what he had.”
A Presidential Honor
On what would have been his birthday, Charlie was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom during a special ceremony at the White House Rose Garden.

A Life Cut Short
Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University during a stop on his American Comeback Tour. He was just 31.
The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, turned himself in following a 33-hour manhunt.
He remains in custody without bail and faces multiple charges, including capital murder. Prosecutors have stated that the death penalty is on the table if he is convicted.
Carrying On His Legacy
After Charlie’s death, Erika was unanimously voted in as CEO and Chairwoman of Turning Point USA — the organization her husband founded and led for more than a decade.
