Hi, I’m Mike Kamper and I’m excited to be spending our adventures together, here on Classic Rock Planet. We’ll be hanging out together every Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm (EST), playing great classic rock.

I grew up near Chicago listening to Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, Journey…the list goes on and on. When I was 16, I got my first internship position at a Chicago Radio Station which lead to my first paid radio job working in the Programming Department.  Over the course of a decade, I worked in the Programming Department of many stations and eventually worked my way to being an On-Air Personality.

When we’re not together on Classic Rock Planet, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors. I love hiking and love exploring our great National Parks. I also enjoy my time our ATV’s riding the great trails of Wisconsin and Michigan. I can also be found fishing some of the great Midwestern waters. If Mother Nature doesn’t agree with my outdoor plans, I love enjoying a great movie from my extensive movie collection which continues to grow.
