On July 7, Sparrow Records’ Danny Gokey posted on social media about a new partnership with Hearts + Homes. Based in New Jersey and founded by Kristen Bowen, Hearts + Homes provides beautiful, gently used furnishing and home goods to qualified, special-circumstance families. They assist underemployed, single moms; families emerging from crisis like homelessness and domestic violence; and refugees settling into New Jersey’s Mercer and Middlesex counties.

Check out the compelling video here.

Gokey’s own nonprofit organization, Better Than I Found It, donated a box truck to Hearts + Homes and his fanbase fulfilled the Cranberry, NJ’s Amazon wish list of helpful items.
