Award-winning, RIAA certified GOLD-selling artist Colton Dixon has released a brand new single, “The Love I Have For You.” Along with a lyric video, the track is getting early traction and support from multiple stations with adds from K-LOVE, WayFM, WONU/Chicago, YesFM/Toledo, OH, WJTL/Lancaster, PA and WBHY/ Mobile, AL.
About the song, Dixon comments, “The last few years have been incredible, however, I was really running on fumes a few times when I was trying to balance work, life, family, and everything in between. I prayed, ‘God, help me here, because I don’t know how much longer I can do this’. I went back to Romans 8:37. To paraphrase, it says, ‘We are more than conquerors because of the love that lives inside of us’. I felt like being just a ‘conqueror’ would’ve been okay, but He says, ‘You’re going to absolutely get through whatever you’re facing because of how much I love you and the love you carry within’. I can get into striving mode as a creative, and it trickles into other areas of my life. Resting in the fact I’m loved by the creator of the Universe is special though. The song reminds me with God’s love there’s nothing I can’t tackle.”
Written by Dixon, Josh Murty and Jon Robert Hall (Nate Smith) the song was produced by Murty (Nico Moon, Carrie Underwood, Tauren Wells) and follows a long-line of hits from Dixon, including the RIAA GOLD-Certified mega-hit “Build A Boat” which boasts 179M global streams to date, and singles “UP + UP,” “My Light” and “Miracles.”
Dixon’s fall tour plans will be revealed soon, and come behind several sold out headline shows over the past few years as well as 2025 Winter Jam.
