Emerging Canadian artist Cole Isaac delivers his most personal and spiritually raw project to date with the release of his debut full-length EP, DO NOT LOSE HEART, available now via NRT Music. The six-track collection is a genre-blending journey of acoustic soul, jazz-laced hip-hop, and sacred storytelling–all designed to create space for healing, reflection, and deep worship.
At the heart of DO NOT LOSE HEART is the standout focus track “Renewed,” a vulnerable and passionate cry for restoration. The song was born out of a season of deep grief and spiritual upheaval after Cole learned that a mentor had disqualified himself from ministry–the second such fall in just four years. Shaken by fear and doubt, Cole turned to Scripture, anchoring the song in Titus 2:11-14 as he prayed for his church and his own soul. The result is a sweeping anthem of surrender and divine renewal, inviting listeners to find refuge in God’s unwavering presence.
“My desire for the listener is that they would feel seen and known by God,” shares Cole. “That this project might give them the words they needed to pray or process through what they’ve been going through, and know that they are not alone.”
Lyrically rich and musically immersive, DO NOT LOSE HEART is brought to life by a creatively talented cast of collaborators, including JaMichael, Ndukwe, Eliza Christianson, and Josh Brown, with Cole Isaac and Canyon Lewis sharing production duties. The EP was mixed by Lewis and mastered by Joao Carvalho, delivering a soundscape that feels as intimate as a living room session and as grand as a sacred cathedral.
In support of the new EP, Cole has released a special collection of DO NOT LOSE HEART merch that is designed specifically to enhance the listening experience of the EP. Items include a coffee mug, a shirt, a special morning blend coffee roast, and a prayer journal. Check out the full collection here.
