Chris Young’s New Christmas Tour Is Nearly a Decade in the Making

Chris Young is coming down the chimney this holiday season. The country singer is finally taking his festive It Must Be Christmas album out on the road.

The tour is nearly 10 years in the making, since his holiday album was released in 2016.

The It Must Be Christmas Acoustic Tour is also a first for the country hitmaker.

“I’m so excited to share that I will be heading out on an acoustic Christmas tour this year!” Young writes on social media. “I’ll be playing songs from my holiday album It Must Be Christmas and all your other faves.”

When Is Chris Young’s Holiday Tour?

Young’s holly, jolly trek will hit 15 cities beginning on Nov. 20 with a stop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He’ll zig-zag across the nation before wrapping things up just before Christmas in Wallingford, Ct. on Dec. 20.

A special pre-sale for tickets is already underway, with tickets available to the general public beginning Friday, Aug. 8 at 10AM local time.

Young has been hard at work on a new album this year. I Didn’t Come Here to Leave will arrive on Oct. 17, with 13 new tracks. The project is his 10th studio album. His last collection, Young Love & Saturday Nights, was released in 2024.
