Chick-Fil-A Considering a Stunning Menu Item

Chick-Fil-A Considering a Stunning Menu Item

Chick-Fil-A still wants you to eat more chicken, but they may soon ask you to do it in front of your television.

The restaurant chain is reportedly getting into television and film with its own streaming platform. Deadline got the scoop with details of the kinds of shows under consideration.

  • Lyft and Airbnb are two more unexpected companies with streaming channels.
  • The NRA used to have NRA TV, but it went offline in 2019 when it was shuttered amid a lawsuit between the group and its advertising company.
  • In country music, record label Big Machine used to have Big Machine TV, but they too shuttered quietly a few years after their 2017 launch.

A Chick-Fil-A Streaming Service? Really?

Per the movie and television trade outlet, look for unscripted shows on Chick-Fil-A TV (our name, not theirs) before the end of the year. This means game shows and other family-friendly programs.

Specifically, the companies behind The Wall on NBC and 13 Reasons Why on Netflix are being considered, with the latter already receiving a 10-episode order. Chick-Fil-A will reportedly spend up to $400,000 per episode, which equals about 69,000 chicken sandwiches.

Additionally, the chain may look to acquire and license content from creators, which is especially interesting in an age with so many channels to get famous. TikTok creators, YouTube channels and podcast hosts have replaced traditional television stars as the celebrities in demand.

Alex Cooper, host of the Call Her Daddy podcast, just signed a multi-year deal with SiriusXM for $125 million (21.6 million chicken sandwiches).

Scripted projects and animated shows are also possible in the future. The company looks to be open to anything but Sundays.

Projects You Forgot These ‘Yellowstone’ Actors Were In

Yellowstone has swept the nation with its western themes and constant drama. What has really sold the show — aside from Taylor Sheridan’s brilliant writing and directing — is the cast he assembled.

But don’t think for a second these men and women didn’t have a stacked resume before taking on their respective roles in the Dutton saga. Several were in some pretty big films or television shows before they ever set foot on the Yellowstone Dutton ranch.
