Chaotic Resemblance Unveils Deeply Moving New Single

Chaotic Resemblance, is known for their bold rock sound and unwavering mission to share the hope of Jesus. Their new rock single, “Song of the Father,” featuring special guest Matt Baird, lead singer of Spoken, is available now. This powerful anthem dives deep into the heart of God’s love for His children and stands as a beacon of hope for anyone feeling lost, broken, or bound by life’s struggles.

Rooted in God’s word and born from a deep desire to reach people in their darkest moments. This single is different from the band’s usual sound, but stays true to their core: sharing the truth of the Gospel through raw, honest music. “It saddens me of seeing people in bondage, depressed, anxious, hopeless,” shares lead singer Travis McConnell. “The Bible says a good word makes the heart glad, and we wanted to sing that good word over people. We want to remind them that there is a God who sees them, knows them, and wants to be with them forever.”

The track began as an 80s-inspired single, but during the recording process, the band felt the Holy Spirit redirecting their path. What emerged was a modern, emotional pop-rock song with layers of passion and purpose. The shift wasn’t planned, but fully God led, like all our projects. “God guided us every step of the way,” Travis explains. “We just had to be obedient.”

That same sense of timing led to the collaboration with Matt Baird. “We had talked about doing something together for a while,” Travis says. “One day, Matt was driving to a gig and asked if I had any demos he could help with. I sent him a few, and this one that was not all the way done, I told him I just couldn’t get the second verse right. Five minutes later, he sent back a recording of him singing a perfect verse. I was like dude, you’re on the song!”

Lyrically, “Song of the Father” is soaked in spiritual truth and echoes the love of God found throughout the Bible. While not based on one single verse, the song got inspiration from the Bible as a whole. “There’s a line that says, ‘I’ll be for you, but you never knew, never knew, I Am,'” Travis shares. “That’s the heart of it. We want people to understand that Jesus has always been there. He wants to be your healer, your shelter, your peace, your hope. Everything you’ve ever needed He is.”

At the heart of the band’s ministry is evangelism, and their music carries that torch in a powerful new way. “Our hope is that this song encourages believers to press on, and that it also pierces the hearts of those who don’t know Jesus yet,” Travis says. “We want people to turn to Him not because of religion, but because they realize He’s been pursuing them all along.”

Musically, the track marks a fresh chapter for Chaotic Resemblance. “This is a pop-rock song like nothing we’ve ever done,” McConnell says. “People who know our sound will immediately notice a difference. But that’s what makes it exciting it’s new, but it’s still 100% us.”

The song closes with the lyric: “We will sing the song of His love forever.” For Travis and the band, that’s not just a line it’s a promise. “Jesus said whoever lives and believes in Him will never die. That we’ll be with Him forever. It excites me to know that one day, I’ll be standing in the presence of Jesus, singing His song with the saints from every generation.”

“Song of the Father” is available everywhere now.
