Bailey Zimmerman‘s fashion faux pas at his recent performance in Las Vegas, Nev. resulted in the country singer doing his entire set shirtless.
During the Sin City stop of Morgan Wallen‘s One Night at a Time Tour, the “Where It Ends” singer opened the show wearing a Las Vegas Raiders shirt. It was a fitting choice in apparel given the show was being held in the very stadium that the Raiders call home.
When in Vegas, right? Wrong.
The crowd profusely booed Zimmerman to the point that he stopped the show and stood there staring at the audience with a confused look on his face. After all, why would fans boo their own team? He gave a thumbs down signal and pointed to his shirt as the booing continued.
“You guys want me to take it off or what?” he shouts after trying to sing over the disappointed shouting.
At last he caves, strips down and give the ill-fated item the boot.
Watch the moment — as shared by the “Religiously” hitmaker — below.
Fans Rush to Bailey Zimmerman’s Defense Over Raiders Shirt
“To the comments…. He wasn’t booed for being him. The booing was for the Raiders shirt y’all. Most of us LOCALS are nooooot raiders fans,” someone writes.
“You handled that like such a pro, and so humbly,” another chimes in. “Just giving the fans what they wanted and letting it roll off your back. Way to go.”
“I love that you just shake it off and keep going,” one writes.
The change in wardrobe doesn’t appear to have rattled Zimmerman as he continued his performance with the same gusto fans have come to know and love.
