NASHVILLE, TN (May 21, 2025) — Anotherland, the rising label and publishing company redefining how music is made and marketed, has named Karrie Dawley as its Head of Creative. With a reputation for shaping artist brands and elevating creative strategy across genres, Dawley brings more than two decades of experience at the highest levels of the music industry.
“Karrie is one of the most respected creative leaders in music,” said David Bagheri, CEO of Anotherland. “She brings a rare combination of music instincts, brand thinking, and deep artist empathy. She’s not just here to make things sound good; she wants to make them matter.”
Dawley began her career in radio promotion at Provident Label Group in 2003, followed by a position at Word Records as their Creative Director, Publishing. She then joined EMI/CMG in A&R, working with Mandisa and Kari Jobe. She then took a role at Essential Records as Creative Director, Publishing, where she signed several writers, including Ethan Hulse and Red Rocks Worship. She has spent the past eight years at CCMG, with the last three years as a Senior Vice President of Publishing, signing writers including Hank Bentley and Jeff Sojka to the group.
In her new role, Dawley will lead creative direction for Anotherland’s roster and oversee content across the label and publishing arms. Her appointment comes as the company builds momentum around its mission to develop culture-shaping artists with a disruptive, artist-first model.
“I’m incredibly excited to be part of the vision of Anotherland—it’s a chance to collaborate, innovate, and help drive meaningful change in the industry,” said Karrie Dawley. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be on this journey!”
