Today, SAPHIRE unveils her deeply personal new single, “Bad,” available now on all streaming platforms. With striking vulnerability and spiritual depth, the song captures a sacred, unfiltered conversation with God in the middle of heartbreak–offering listeners a place to bring their own pain, questions, and longing.

Written by SAPHIRE alongside Wade Wenrick and Phoebe Scott, and produced by Tyler Moody, “Bad” reads like a journal entry poured out in real time. Emerging from the aftermath of personal loss, the song sits intentionally in the tension of grief rather than rushing toward resolution. It gives voice to the unspoken emotions of faith–anger, confusion, and surrender–while pointing to God as the only true source of healing. With lyrics like “Oh I just need you bad,” SAPHIRE invites listeners into a moment of raw dependence, where faith persists even when answers do not come.

In addition to today’s release, SAPHIRE recently premiered a brand-new acoustic live performance of her hit single “Here At The Table” at this year’s We Love Christian Music Awards Winner Announcement Special. The track, which has already surpassed 90,000 streams and earned a nomination in the Next Big Thing category, was featured alongside performances by Britt Nicole, Colton Dixon, Band Reeves, and more, further solidifying her place as one of the genre’s most compelling emerging voices.
