“I’m excited to share this book about prayer with the world,” shares West. “I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of prayer in my life and I’m constantly amazed by the truth that we can go to God with anything and know that He listens, He heals, He strengthens and He guides. I hope this 40 day devotional will be a powerful reminder that the most important conversation we can have today and everyday is with our Creator.”
Written across 40 short chapters and paired with guided journal prompts, “Don’t Stop Praying” equips readers with practical tools to make prayer a consistent, meaningful part of everyday life. Drawing from his own faith journey, West offers honest reflection, biblical insight and encouragement for anyone longing to reconnect with God on a more personal level.
The book was born out of a season of honest self-reflection, as West realized he was spending more time talking about Jesus than talking to Him — connecting others to faith while neglecting his own prayer life. That realization became the catalyst for “Don’t Stop Praying,” a project rooted in returning to prayer as a daily, personal conversation with God.
Exploring themes of gratitude, grief, forgiveness and spiritual warfare, the book emphasizes an ongoing relationship with God over the pressure of perfect performance. West leads readers backstage into his own faith story, with honesty, candor and wit – offering a reminder that prayer is a transformative practice.
In addition to the book’s release, West continues to build momentum with his current single, “Good.” Written by West with AJ Pruis, the song opens with an acoustic strum and unfolds as a thoughtful reflection on grace. Anchored by a powerful, sing-along chorus, the song reframes grace as something not earned by effort, but freely given because God is good.
