JANUARY 23, 2026 — Grace Graber has released a full cover of Brandon Lake’s “That’s Who I Praise” in her signature punk style, following up the runaway success of her punk take on Forrest Frank’s “Lemonade.” The song is available everywhere at https://slinky.to/THATSWHOIPRAISE.
Both songs are part of a bigger PUNK X PRAISE series that is quickly adding a whole new dynamic to Grace Graber’s heartfelt original music, which covers themes of faith and mental health with authenticity and intentionality. The meteoric rise of her social media listenership has proven there is a hunger for vertical music riveted by a guitar-driven sound.
“There’s been a massive wave of growth around these punk covers,” Grace, who released her most recent EP Everything You Ever Wanted late in 2025, shares. “They’re bringing awareness to a genre that isn’t as widely noticed. It has been introducing a genre to Gen Z that maybe they haven’t considered.”
That reality has been evident in the comments. When Grace Graber dropped a partial cover of Brandon Lake’s “Gratitude” on socials last week as a lead-up to “That’s Who I Praise,” it quickly hit half a million views on Instagram alone, with another quarter of a million on TikTok.
“I didn’t know I would like this until now,” one Instagram commenter said.
“Please tell me there’s a full worship album coming! My daughters (and I) would absolutely love it!” added a mom.
On TikTok, one comment summed it up: “I have been begging for Christian punk! Finally found my people!”
Songs like “That’s Who I Praise” center on worshipful lyrics that have stood up to their viral status:
“I wanna dance like David
I wanna faith like Paul
I wanna sing like Silas tearing down the prison walls.”
With Grace Graber’s voice, these tracks are also getting an added dose of adrenaline, a fresh energy that embodies the kind of excitement that should characterize the joy of being on the adventure of following Christ.
