TRAILBLAZERS THIRD DAY ANNOUNCE
30TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT AT ICONIC
RED ROCKS ON BANDS HISTORIC
JUNE 18 DEBUT DATE
Exclusively produced by the Awakening Foundation, this special 30th anniversary show takes place exactly 30 years to the date since the group’s self-titled, major-label debut released on June 18, 1996, on Reunion Records. Famously known as the ‘bus record,’ the album features fan-favorite tracks such as “Love Song,” “Blackbird,” “Thief” and “Consuming Fire.” Along with these pivotal songs, the show setlist at Red Rocks will commemorate the immense impact of THIRD DAY’s unparalleled 30 years, pulling from its impressive 31 No. 1 singles across 14 albums.
Tickets for THIRD DAY’s 30th Anniversary Concert at Red Rocks go on sale Friday, Dec. 12, at 12 p.m. Eastern time at www.ThirdDay.com and www.AwakeningFoundation.com.
Lead singer Mac Powell shares, “What a privilege it is to be BACK at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre where we performed the final Third Day show. This venue holds a special place in my heart and the fans there are incredible! As we embark on the 30th Anniversary Tour to honor the release of the “Bus” album, it feels perfect to celebrate at Red Rocks exactly 30 years to the day since the release of our self-titled album.”
Guitarist Mark Lee adds, “Going all the way back to when we were labelmates on Reunion Records, Michael W. Smith has been a great friend and mentor to us. Collaborating with him on “Agnus Dei” for the Exodus project was a career highlight, and we have so many great memories from the Come Together and Worship Tour. It is such an honor to share the stage with a Christian music icon at one of the most iconic music venues in the world at Red Rocks. This is a show you’re not going to want to miss!”
