Over the course of chart-topping albums like Perception, The Search and HOPE, multi-Platinum rapper/producer NF has taken fans on a compelling personal journey, exploring life’s most primal emotions. That journey continues with FEAR, his new six-song EP, released today via NF Real Music LLC / Capitol Music Group. See below for track listing. Download / stream FEAR HERE. Today, NF shared “SORRY,” his collaboration with James Arthur. Listen HERE. The EP also finds him teaming up with mgk on “WHO I WAS.”

Throughout the roll-out of FEAR, fans have taken note of how the imagery often hearkens back to earlier songs, albums and videos. The EP’s cover is a striking image of a stately structure set aflame, calling to mind the cover of 2015’s Mansion. In the two weeks leading up to the release of FEAR, combined views of the teasers surpassed 22 million.

FEAR marks the first new music from NF since the April 2023 release of HOPE, which entered Billboard’s Top Album Sales, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts at No. 1 and took the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200. In 2023 and 2024, NF played to sold-out arena crowds around the globe on the HOPE TOUR.

Clash Music said, “’Hope’ finds NF claiming a space of his own by rejecting expectation – as a result, it’s an often thrilling return….This is perhaps his most personal document yet.” The title track and “HAPPY” have been certified Gold. Praising “HAPPY” as the “soul-baring highlight,” NME said, “he documents his ongoing mental health journey with brutal, utterly unbridled honesty.”

Hailed by Billboard as “one of the world’s biggest rappers,” NF is one of the most consumed artists of our time, generating over 55 billion combined global streams worldwide and selling over 1.25 MILLION tickets to date. He’s earned 62 RIAA certifications, 28 Platinum plaques and 34 Gold honors. Often silent on self-promotion and social media, NF’s achievements come straight from his music and lyrics resonating with fans. As Forbes noted, “NF’s success speaks to what can be done these days outside of the traditional system, proving that with his strong fan base and his incredible drive, the success of NF is a true testament to his status as a talent in the hip hop world.”

NF raps with raw grit and emotional authenticity born of a lifetime of taking hits and getting back up again. With tight bars, evocative singing, and dynamic production, he holds up a window to his soul in a way that allows fans to see themselves — to the tune of 62 RIAA certifications, 28 Platinum plaques, and 8 multi-Platinum honors; just a portion of his 55 billion global streams. He’s sold-out arenas around the world, with 1.25 million tickets sold. And yet, NF eschews self promo. His massive achievements come straight from his music resonating with listeners.

Born Nate Feuerstein, NF grew up in Gladwin, MI, using rap as both escape and expression. After building independent heat, he signed with Capitol Records in 2015, beginning his climb to dominance with Mansion, a debut LP that sought to map his psyche room by room. He’s since demonstrated the power of vulnerability on hits like 2017’s 8x Platinum “Let You Down,” 2019’s 2x Platinum “The Search,” and 2023’s fan-favorite “HAPPY.” Building from Mansion, his album titles and themes continue to speak to a drive to push past darkness and toward light: from 2016’s Platinum Therapy Session, to back-to-back Billboard 200 chart-toppers Perception (2017, 2x Platinum) and The Search (2019, Platinum), on through 2023’s HOPE (No. 2).

On his latest EP, FEAR, NF explores that titular subject with radical honesty — and key assists from special guests mgk and James Arthur — making it clear that his story is still being written.
