Anne Wilson Releases Final Preview Of New Album With Soul-Baring Track, “Carry Me,” Out Now

The song arrives as the final sneak peek into her highly anticipated third album Stars, arriving Oct. 17 via Capitol Christian Music Group. She recently introduced the project with its title track – a song that threads together her childhood dream of becoming an astronaut with the real-life journey she has walked: grappling with the loss of her brother Jacob, choosing to hold onto faith in the aftermath and learning to see God’s presence reflected in both the night sky and her own story. Early praise is already building, with Holler applauding “Stars” as “a rousing, autobiographical record that keeps Wilson’s spirituality at its heart while showcasing her powerhouse voice and a refreshingly broad range of stylistic influences.”

Across its 12 tracks – all co-written by Wilson – Stars finds the Kentucky native stepping fully into her own as a storyteller, blending the grit of country with the hope of faith in a way that is entirely her own. The coming-of-age collection brings together frequent collaborators Jeff Pardo and Matthew West, alongside Trannie Anderson, Blake Pendergrass, Emily Weisband and Andy Albert. Wilson will bring the new songs to life on The STARS Tour, beginning Oct. 18 in Nashville at The Pinnacle. Tickets are available now at annewilsonofficial.com.

Wilson recently expanded her message of hope and identity beyond her music with the release of her first devotional, Hey Girl: You Are Seen, Loved, and Made for Morevia K-LOVE books. The 40-day journey was created to help young women discover their true worth and unshakeable identity in Christ.

With Stars on the horizon, Wilson is set to deliver her most panoramic work yet – a record of grief and growth, wonder that refuses to dim and faith that continues to guide her forward. Stay up to date at annewilsonofficial.com and keep up with her on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
