The 2025 CMA Award Nominees Are Here – Country Music News

The Heavy Hitters

No surprise here, but Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Cody Johnson dominate the Entertainer and Male/Female Artist categories. Rising stars like Zach Top, Megan Moroney, Ella Langley, and Shaboozey snagged their first major nods, while legends Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, and Lady A keep the Group and Duo races stacked.

Over in the music categories, the Single of the Year lineup is loaded with fan favorites like Lainey’s “4x4xU,” Luke’s “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” and Ella Langley’s collab with Riley Green. Album of the Year may be the toughest fight, with Lainey, Luke, Megan, Zach, Morgan, and even Post Malone (!) in the mix.

And let’s not forget the collabs: Cody Johnson with Carrie Underwood, Post Malone with Blake Shelton, and Riley Green with Ella Langley are all battling it out for Musical Event.
