My passion for music began on Saturday mornings, doing childhood chores, listening to WLS-FM in Chicago in the 70s. These songs transported me to a place much more pleasant than scrubbing a toilet. Music provides an escape, a journey, an adventure, so after experiencing a local radio station broadcasting live at the Rock County Fair in Wisconsin, I decided a career in radio would keep me from working a “job.” I’ve had the honor of working in this business for more than 40 years and becoming a member of the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2016. I have three adult children finding their own adventures while I’m living “semi-retired’ in Bozeman, Montana. God put it on my heart to share his Word through music, and I’m thrilled to be doing that on The Dove!
