A woman has gone viral on TikTok for simply doing her laundry… with one seriously scary twist.

Not too many people really enjoy doing laundry, but at least it isn’t typically a horrifying event that makes your skin crawl.

At least, it wasn’t until a woman in London named Dee discovered a creepy, crawly hitchhiker in her wet load of wash recently.

In a video posted to TikTok that’s been viewed over 3.5 million times as of publishing, Dee reveals that a giant black spider has infiltrated her active laundry cycle.

“Guys, there’s a spider in my washing machine and I’m so [redacted] scared!” Dee exclaims in the clip, desperately asking, “How am I gonna get the clothes out even when he’s dead? I’m not usually scared of spiders but this is like… big, huge…”

The video shows Dee’s wet laundry turning and rolling in the wash. Suddenly, a giant, soggy spider emerges from the jumbled-up clothing, sending Dee into a shriek.

“That’s actually huge,” she continues, lamenting her predicament.

“Who’s going to get all the clothes out for me ? Will he still be in there? How did he get in there in the first place? I must’ve carried him,” Dee wrote in the caption of the video, asking the very same burning questions we have about the ordeal.

Viewers in the comments section had the same reaction we (and Dee) had: a damn near heart attack!

“I was like, ‘OK, girl how bad…’ Then I saw it, my heart would actually just stop,” one user wrote.

“That washing machine will be washing them clothes for three days STRAIGHT, I tell ya,” another weighed in.

“Throw the washing machine away and start over,” someone else advised.

“He can keep the clothes and washing machine,” another joked.

Anyway, that laundry belongs to the spider now.
