Jelly Roll, Kane Brown Sign on to Headline Nashville’s Big Bash

Jelly Roll and Kane Brown have some big hometown plans in store for New Year’s Eve.

The two stars have signed on as headliners for CBS’ New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, the show announced on Thursday (Sept. 19).

Both will perform on live television from downtown Nashville, celebrating with fans live as they ring in the new year.

Once again, the Bash will return to Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park for a five-hour broadcast, including back-to-back star performances across multiple time zones. The show will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Now in its fourth year of broadcasting live on CBS, the country-centric New Year’s Eve show saw its ratings skyrocket in 2023, with a 75 percent bump in viewership over 2022’s Bash. Viewership peaked at about 15 minutes before midnight, with 8.58 million viewers tuning in. The show was country music’s highest-rated program of 2023.

Additional performers and details about the 2024 Bash are expected to arrive at a later date. Last year, Elle King hosted the show.

Jelly and Brown are two of country music’s most in-demand headlining acts of 2024. Jelly is currently in the midst of his Beautifully Broken headlining tour, and he’s set to release an album, also called Beautifully Broken, in October.

Meanwhile, Brown is set to receive the Country Champion Award, in honor of his “passion for service and groundbreaking contributions to the country music industry and beyond,” at this years’ People’s Choice Country Awards ceremony, which will take place in late September. His newest song, “Miles on It,” is from an as-yet-unannounced new album.
