Sam Hunt typically keeps his family life away from the spotlight. However, fans will get a rare peek into his day-to-day with his wife Hannah Lee Fowler and their two young children in his new music video for his song “Country House,” due out on Friday (Sept. 13).
The singer shared a trailer for the video on social media this week, showing scenes of family dinners, childhood games and horseback rides through the countryside.
The stars of the show in this video are Hunt’s 2-year-old daughter Lucy Louise — whom he affectionately calls “Weesie” — and 11-month-old son Lowry Lee. One scene shows Hannah playing with little Lowry as he lays in his crib; another shows the family gathering for a group hug.
Also featured in the music video are Hunt’s brothers, Ben and Van, and their families, making the “Country House” music video a bona fide family affair.
“Making this video is a memory I will hold dear,” the singer writes on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone who helped us make it. What a fun couple of days.”
In keeping with the song’s theme of nostalgia for an old-school, traditional way of life, Hunt and his family dressed in their Sunday best for the shoot — and he says his daughter took notice.
“Every time I wear a jacket now my little Weesie says ‘You look country house,'” the singer adds.
Hunt is currently wrapping up the last few weeks of his 2024 Locked Up Tour, which takes its name from an EP he released back in April. “Country House” is included on the track list of that project.
