Jelly Roll has frequently said that he’s “never taken anything more serious” than he’s currently taking his 2024 Beautifully Broken Tour.

That means taking care of himself, physically and mentally.

Now that he’s about 10 stops into the tour, Jelly hopped on social media to share his pre-show regimen, and the oddly specific — but effective — way he warms up each night before the show.

“Dude, I feel great. I’ve never felt more clear-headed. I’ve never felt more focused,” he says in the video, which he uploaded to Instagram. “I’m just really eating very, very militant. Walking every day. I’m just hitting a bunch of steps. Taking it serious, man.”

As for his concert pre-game ritual?

“I’ll eat two bananas and then I’ll do a little boxing workout for 15, 20 minutes,” he reveals. “I’m already kinda sweatin’ and ready to f–king roll, baby. I’ve never [taken] anything more serious than I’ve [taken] this tour.”

Jelly recently divulged the most “frivolous” thing he packed for his Beautifully Broken Tour: A two-seater sauna and cold plunge. In the video he showed that tub in use, saying it’s a staple of his pre-show ritual that helps him stay healthy and loosen up before he hits the stage.

Cold plunges are known for their health and mood-boosting benefits — Dierks Bentley is an especially big proponent — and they were a part of Jelly’s life even before tour started, albeit in a much more DIY format.

Last month, the singer’s wife Bunnie Xo posted video of her very own “hillbilly cold plunge,” aka an inflatable kiddie pool that she purchased off Amazon and set up in her backyard. While Jelly’s a fan of the cold plunge, it seems he wasn’t too thrilled with that purchase.

“Mama, did you get another kiddie pool?” he can be seen saying in the clip Bunnie posted to TikTok. “You know we got a nice house. You can’t keep putting kiddie pools in the backyard.”

Jelly’s Beautifully Broken Tour is set to continue through October.
