Yes, That Was Trace Adkins’ Daughter on ‘Claim to Fame’ Season 3

Trace Adkins is beaming after his daughter Mackenzie Adkins competed on the reality competition series Claim to Fame.

The country singer shared a few photos from what looks to have been a wrap party for the show. In the first snap, the two walk the red carpet, while the second photo shows Adkins holding cutout of Mackenzie on a stick.

“As the fans of @ClaimToFameABC now know… @MackenzieLynnAdkins is my daughter,” he writes on social media. “I’m proud that you’re my daughter, Mackenzie. Congratulations on getting as far as you did. Love you.”

How Far Does Mackenzie Adkins Make It on Claim to Fame?

The show Claim to Fame features a cast of unknown relatives of celebrities. Each week is a quest to reveal each other’s famous connection, while also concealing their own. The one who can stump the rest of the house for the entirety of the season wins.

Mackenzie made it very far on the third installment of the celebrity guessing game. In the finale, the famous daughter competed in the final three against Hud and Adam.

After a failed attempt to convince the others that her famous relative is Toby Keith, she is eliminated after Adam is able to correctly identify her relation to Adkins. He then reveals fellow competitor Hud is related to John Mellencamp (his father), thus sealing his victory and the cash prize of $100,000.

Who Are Trace Adkins’ Children?

Adkins is a father to five children, all daughters. His oldest two, Tarah and Sarah, are from his first marriage to Barbara Lewis, whom he divorced in 1990. He shares Mackenzie, Brianna and Trinity with his third wife, Rhonda Farlaw. The couple split in 2014.

He opened up to Taste of Country in 2022 about what it’s like being a girl dad.

“You’re in protection mode,” he explains. “I’ve often said with my girls, I’m working security and I’m working as a pack mule. I go to the mall with them and I carry the money and I carry all the stuff they buy, and I’m working double duty as working security.”
