Fans still have two more days to wait until Post Malone‘s country album, F-1 Trillion, drops on Friday (Aug. 16). But apparently, quite a few of them like what they’ve heard so far.

According to social media news organization Chart Data, the album had sold more than 500,000 total units domestically as of Monday (Aug. 12). That’s enough sales for the project to achieve RIAA Gold status, and it’s not even officially out yet.

Of course, several of the tracks on F-1 Trillion have been released ahead of time: Malone’s collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help,” came out in early May, and it has now spent more time at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart than any other song of 2024.

Malone followed up that release with a couple more big-name country collaborations, including a duet with Blake Shelton and another with Luke Combs.

Malone’s F-1 Trillion album mostly consists of duets — 15 out of its 18 tracks feature a guest artist — but he’s also proven his solo country chops, too, with the live performance of a song called “Yours.” That’s a song he wrote for his 2-year-old daughter.

Other country stars who lend their voices to the project include Lainey Wilson, Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley and many others. In a recent edition of CBS Sunday Mornings, Post discusses – among other topics – the acceptance he’s found in the country music community.

F-1 Trillion will arrive on Friday (Aug. 16).
