Emotional6-Year-Old Sings to Morgan Wallen, Sets Internet on Fire

A 6-year-old little girl has stolen the internet’s heart after a video of her singing along to Morgan Wallen was posted to social media.

In the clip — shared by her mother — the young girl’s big emotions are on full display as she belts out the song “Wasted on You” live at Wallen’s concert, with tears streaming down her face.

“Who hurt her?” one comment reads. “All the aunties are ready to throw down.”

The moment came from Wallen’s tour stop in Dallas on July 26. Judging by the numerous videos on mom’s page, this girl was living her best life at the show. She’s clearly a huge fan, as she knows every word to the emotional track.

“She’s out here singing like she’s a single mom of four children and the father just ran off with the secretary,” one person types.

“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Somebody better watch out! She IS NOT having it!” another adds.

“She a tad young to be leaning on that bourbon,” another person quips, referencing the song’s lyrics.

Why Does Music Make Us Emotional?

Music can certainly have us in our feelings. One study suggests that music affects our limbic system, which helps us process emotions and control memory. When we hear music, that system essentially starts lighting up, which triggers dopamine — the feel good hormone — in our brain.

This young girl’s reaction to hearing her favorite song is something plenty of people can relate to.

“The emotions you get from hearing your favorite song being sung live and in an arena where you feel the vibrations,” one comment reads.

“It’s that deep appreciation for that live music that hits so good while you’re cruising in the car,” someone else says. “It hits different and deeper live. Her big emotions are such an Aries vibe! Sing it girlllll!”

“She’s an intuitive empath,” another shares. “She feels the depth of the song and its tone even though she’s too young to deeply understand the lyrics themselves at face value. I love this. God bless her.”
