Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Busch Feud Just Got Even Uglier

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Busch Feud Just Got Even Uglier

New threats have been issued ahead of Round 2 of the ongoing feud between NASCAR drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch.

A 78-year-old team owner just promised a butt-whoopin’ if things go sideways this weekend in Charlotte.

  • Stenhouse confronted Busch after last weekend’s race and accused him of wrecking his car. He then punched him in the face.
  • The brawl also featured Stenhouse’s father, who has since been suspended indefinitely.
  • Busch was not penalized but Stenhouse Jr. was fined $75,000 for waiting 198 laps to get revenge.

During the heated argument, Stenhouse Jr. threatened to wreck Busch this coming weekend during the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte. If that happens, he should expect Richard Childress Racing owner Richard Childress to be waiting for him.

NASCAR reporter Chris Weaver shared video of Childress promising to retaliate. “When I see him,” he begins, “I’m going to tell him if he does (wreck Busch), I’m older but I just changed my style of fighting. He’ll carry a rough a– beating.”

“I don’t fight as fair as I used to. I’m a little older,” Childress — dressed in a suit and tie — claims.

Since the fight, other drivers have started to weigh in. Denny Hamlin shared that Stenhouse was texting other drivers his plans to fight Busch during the race.

Kevin Harvice backed Stenhouse saying he didn’t understand why Busch was upset at the three-wide racing that started the race.

In addition to his father, two of Stenhouse Jr.’s crew members were also suspended for their role in the fight.

Old-School NASCAR Car Logos That Are Still Cool Today

It’s pretty common for NASCAR rides to switch designs week to week, but back in the ’90s, when the cars had to be actually painted versus wrapped like today, rides stuck with designs for weeks at a time.

Some of these paint jobs never would see the light of day in today’s world. Let’s run down some some classic NASCAR sponsor paint jobs as well as some forgotten ones.
