Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman, and Ernest also made cameos to help Wallen close out the festival
Morgan Wallen closed out the 2024 Stagecoach Sunday night with a hits-filled set that included guest appearances by Post Malone, Eric Church, Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman, and Ernest.
It was the Post Malone duet that drew the most buzz, as the twosome debuted their new song “I Had Some Help.” Ahead of the festival, Malone — who performed a covers-and-guests-filled Stagecoach set under the moniker Posty Goes Country — teased his forthcoming collaboration with Wallen. The first snippet arrived in December, with another preview coming in hot on the eve of Stagecoach’s opening night.
“They say teamwork makes the dream work,” Malone wrote in the caption of a TikTok teasing the song. He tagged Wallen, hinting at a potential Stagecoach link-up. The quote refers to the lyrics featured in what sounds like an upbeat country chorus on the song, which fans have been referring to as “I Had Some Help.”
“It ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself/Don’t act like you ain’t helped me pull that bottle off the shelf/Been deep in every weekend, if you couldn’t tell,” Malone sings in the upbeat country chorus. “They say teamwork makes the dream work/Hell, I had some help.”
Wallen’s headlining set was tempered in part by the singer’s recent chair-throwing incident that resulted in three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one disorderly conduct misdemeanor.

“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility,” Wallen wrote of the incident that occurred at Eric Church’s Nashville honky-tonk. “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”
Wallen’s One Night at a Time tour continues at U.S. stadiums through May and June before the singer jets overseas for a July 4 gig at London’s Hyde Park.
