Taylor Swift was just 19 years old when she embarked on her first headlining tour in 2009, but she was already capable of playing a complete set of hits that everyone in the audience would know.
Swift toured as an opening act for Rascal Flatts and other major country artists after she released her self-titled debut album in 2006. By the release of her second album, Fearless, in November 2008, the rising young star had already soared to headliner status, propelled by hits including “Tim McGraw,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” “Our Song,” “Picture to Burn” and “Should’ve Said No.”
She played all of those songs when she hit the stage on April 23, 2009, at Roberts Municipal Stadium in Evansville, Ind., as well as a number of songs from her sophomore album. By the end of Swift’s headlining Fearless Tour, she had scored additional hits with “Love Story,” “White Horse,” “You Belong With Me,” “Fifteen” and “Fearless.”
Those songs were also in her set on opening night, along with some album tracks and new, unreleased material, according to Setlist.fm.
