Reba McEntire is doing a happy dance after Netflix announced it will be streaming all six seasons of her popular sitcom, Reba. The streaming giant is set to carry the show beginning Monday, May 6.
“WE’RE GETTING REBAAAA,” Netflix shared on social media.
Without saying a word, the country singer responded with a GIF that captures exactly how fans of the show feel right now — her character, Reba Hart, doing a little jig.
How Long Did the Show Reba Last?
McEntire’s show Reba debuted on Oct. 5, 2001. The comedy ran five seasons on the WB network before moving to the CW for a sixth and final season. Overall, the series produced 127 episodes, which will all be available for binging.
Like many ’90s and early 2000s sitcoms, the show featured an opening theme song. The “Fancy” singer offered up her own vocals for her own theme, titled “I’m a Survivor.”
What Is the Show Reba About?
Set in Houston, Texas, Reba details the life of a fictitious single mom, Reba Hart, played by McEntire. She works hard to navigate a life that has been turned upside down since her husband of 20 years, Brock, got his dental hygienist, Barbra Jean, pregnant.
Hart juggles being a single mom with three children — Cheyenne, Kira and Jake. Things take an unexpected turn when Hart learns her oldest daughter is also pregnant with her high school boyfriend Van Montgomery’s baby.

What Other Shows Has Reba McEntire Been On?
McEntire has had several acting roles over the years in both animated and live action films, as well as television shows. Recently she starred in The Hammer alongside her Reba co-star Melissa Peterman and her boyfriend, Rex Linn. McEntire and Linn also shared the screen on Season 3 of Big Sky.
The “Seven Minutes in Heaven” hitmaker is currently working on a new sitcom, which she’ll star in, that has been picked up by NBC.
The Hollywood Reporter describes her role as someone “who inherits her father’s restaurant and is less than thrilled to discover she has a new business partner in the half-sister she never knew she had.”
McEntire is also in the midst of serving as a coach for her second consecutive season on The Voice.
