Hi, I’m Mike Kamper, and I’m excited to be spending our adventures together here on Classic Rock Planet.

I grew up near Chicago listening to Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, Journey…the list goes on and on. When I was 16, I got my first internship position at a Chicago Radio Station which lead to my first paid radio job working in the Programming Department.  Over the course of a decade, I worked in the Programming Department of many stations and eventually worked my way to being an On-Air Personality.

When we’re not together on Classic Rock Planet, you can find me enjoying the great outdoors. I love hiking and love exploring our great National Parks. I also enjoy my time our ATV’s riding the great trails of Wisconsin and Michigan. I can also be found fishing some of the great Midwestern waters. If Mother Nature doesn’t agree with my outdoor plans, I love enjoying a great movie from my extensive movie collection which continues to grow.

I look forward to sharing all my memories and stories with you. I also look forward to creating new ones with our life here at Classic Rock Planet. Let’s share them together.
